PREIS is able to offer a wide range of transformer bushings, from 1kV and 50A up to 52kV and 25.000A.
Below you will find a short extract of the most common porcelain bushings from our regular range. The PREIS logistics centre has a significant stock of several special insulators with higher creepage distances, longer oil part lengths or special glazing colours as well as metal parts with special dimensions and special surface treatments, i.e. tin or nickel plating.
Available standards that we take into consideration in our production are EN 50386, EN 50180, EN 50243, DIN 42530, DIN 42531, DIN 42532, DIN 42533, DIN 42534, DIN 42537, UNE 20176 and BS 2562. If you do not find the required bushing in the table below please contact us. We are certain to have a suitable one in our enlarged product range.

Members of the PREIS Group develop and produce a diverse and wide range of off load tap changers which meet the requirements of EN 60214.
Each tap changer produced is mechanically tested according to EN 60214-1 Point 7.3.1.
Tap changer series PDR 1 and 2 are used depending on the type (up to 36kV and 63A) in distribution transformers in one, two or three- phase applications. Depending on the technical requirements, holders of different lengths are available: 50, 70, 90 and 130 mm (the distance between the tank cover and the centre of the copper tubes).
The tap changer knobs exposed to the environment are made of a high-class plastic (modified PA6.6). A knob made of aluminium is also available as a special design.
The tap changer series PDZ is used depending on the type (up to 36kV and 120A) in distribution transformers in one, two or three phase applications.
The distance between the tank cover and the center of the copper tubes is freely selectable by the customer. Please, specify this measurement in the inquiry or order.
The tap changer knobs exposed to the environment are made of aluminum.
The tap changer series PDM is used depending on the type (up to 36kV and 150A) in transformers in one, two or three-phase applications.
Depending on the technical requirements, holders of different length are available: 91 and 131 mm (the distance between the tank cover and the center of the copper tubes).
The steel parts are made of mild steel and zinc plated as standard. These parts are also available in stainless steel as a special design.
The tap changer type PDR was successfully tested according to IEC EN 60214-1 by the accredited testing laboratory CESI, including following tests:
